  • Go on Saturday, and by late afternoon or evening, and taste the flavours of local stalls. Local popular atmosphere guaranteed! Between sarongs, Indian clothing stores, food stalls, copies of bags or shoes of brands... change of scenery guaranteed! Go to Sogo (bandaraya station) and get off Jalan Masjid india up to the mosque (Masjid Jamek station). You then steps from Chinatown along the river.

  • Big masjid in a crowded market... Ample wadhu area... Like all masjids in Malaysia, Ladies prayer hall is present.. Fridays might be extremely crowded... Hawkers and beggers are excess... No Parking space inside or around the masjid....
  • One of the prominent mosque in Quala Lumpur. I have visited there. This mosque is beautiful and having a nice architecture. Every Indian is thankful for Malesian government for giving such a name for this mosque :)
  • Certain places are not clean. Superb congested but best place for shopping
  • From one side, it is a beautiful mosque, but area is not that nice. I think, it is because of a bazar next to it.
  • Fabric Heaven for those seeking to buy materials for sewing. Be it for a traditional outfit or house curtains. Buzzing with many foreigners from Pakistan... Bangladesh...
