Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur
(3.4/5 based on 4,200+ reviews on the web)
Take a walk down Jalan Alor, a celebrated street that attracts food fanatics from far and wide. Stalls are positioned in seeming chaos all along the way, but there's method to the madness. Take your time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells before following your senses and taking a seat at a stall for a main meal. Alternatively, you can just pick up snacks as you go. Local seafood, secret-recipe satay and chilli sauces, dim sum, noodles: most of Asia's thriving street food scene is represented along the bustling street. Plan your visit to Jalan Alor and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Kuala Lumpur tour planner.

  • Street stalls line the left and right. I entered the crowded shop called "West Lake". I ordered something like rice flour noodles. Too hot could not eat the whole thing.
