Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
Visit Aquaria KLCC, an aquarium located under the thriving city center. Opened in 2005, this state of the art attraction occupies two levels and features a 90 m (300 ft) underwater tunnel where you're surrounded on all sides by a rich diversity of aquatic life. Themed to represent a journey from land to the darkest depths of the ocean, this largely interactive and educational facility is home to 250 different species from both surf and turf, native to the country and from farther afield. See colorful creatures in themed exhibits including a coral walk, electric zone, living fossils, and oceaniarium--and keep your eye out for sharks. • I haven't been for around a year but have to say it is memorable - well worth a visit. Just avoid school holidays when it can be full of kids. It is well set out and is very informative.  more »

  • There were many different fishes in the aquarium and the tunnel was amazing as you could see the sharks and fishes. I loved the otters and the green snake. I liked the jellies too. It will be a fun experience for the whole family.
  • Many small aquariums and some sections with virtually nothing drags down the rating. Some nice tanks with cool fish. Good tunnel at the end. Stairs and escalator makes it hard with stroller. Saw some seemingly dead animals (insect like things) which is pretty bad...
  • This place is just awesome. A must go in kl. The ticket price is a bit high but a total worth it. The undersea walk was so beautiful. You should experience it by yourself to understand... so go go go!!!
  • This approximately 60,000 square foot facility is located at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The theme of the Aquaria is to exhibit the types of fishes that is found inhabiting the streams in the highlands and in the rainforests as well as in the mangrove swamps and finally in the coral reefs and in the deep blue sea. There is a very good collection of various fishes as well as the magnificent sting-rays and sharks.
  • Very Big aquarium with a wide variety of fish and other marine animals. Its near the petronas twin towers. A must watch if you are in KL. There are lot of eateries outside the aquarium so that you can have a delicious meal after to come out of the aquarium.
