Aquaria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
(3.8/5 based on 3,400+ reviews on the web)
Visit Aquaria KLCC, an aquarium located under the thriving city center. Opened in 2005, this state of the art attraction occupies two levels and features a 90 m (300 ft) underwater tunnel where you're surrounded on all sides by a rich diversity of aquatic life. Themed to represent a journey from land to the darkest depths of the ocean, this largely interactive and educational facility is home to 250 different species from both surf and turf, native to the country and from farther afield. See colorful creatures in themed exhibits including a coral walk, electric zone, living fossils, and oceaniarium--and keep your eye out for sharks. • We had so much fun at this aquarium. So many different fish and big aquariums. Also a place where you can touch the fish! So good for kids. Our son is a little too young for it but he loved the colors...  more »
  • The overall experience is exciting and eye-opening. Just don't go to the so-called Augmented Reality Experience thing. It's a total rip-off. You pay RM20 per person to essentially stand in a brightly ...  more »

  • Its really nice here. Ive been here for the second time. The first time was excellent. But yesterday i go there, the service are damn ugly... maybe its the person fault. I really hate how he treated me and my friends. U should hve not scolded visitors even tho they are local people, especially when its your fault and not ours. Hope u will train your workers to be polite with visitors. And they also tersalah print our picture. Even tho die nak ganti, but we refuce it bcs we r running out of time and in a hurry. Bcs we came there for a school trip. Really not statisfied at all. Soo the result is, im only gonna gave 3 stars . Pleaseeeeee upgrade your service.
  • Aquaria KLCC is located at the KLCC convention centre, just a short distance from Suria KLCC mall. The aquarium itself isn't huge, so you can walk through it rather quickly. It's not as good as the SEA Aquarium in Singapore but definitely better than the one in Bangkok. The kids usually get a kick out of going through the sea tunnel.
  • An outstanding experience all together! This is an amazing destination and a must see tourist attraction for anyone who visits KL.. Very knowledgeable and fascinating with all the variety of fishes they have and touch experiences at some points. They do have discounts for some things. I got mine for the Malindo boarding pass! Lol.. Only downside is i think the virtual experience thingy is a bit of a rip off for the money we pay.
  • Must see this place if u r visiting Malaysia., got a big shopping mall together with the famous twin towers., Got free bus service from Pasar Seni LRT station
  • A fantastic underground aquarium with numerous live specimens which promises hours and hours of fun with fish and friends! Includes a spectacular underwater tunnel with a GIANT FAT GROUPER FISH named... Bob :) 10/10 will play with feesh again.
