  • Visited many Asian beaches went in alone, but said the National Park and was pretty nice! Snorkel the coral and fish have been watching would never get bored! Want to enjoy nature, is surprised and met on the island quite recommend it is! I think Japanese are less relaxing to snorkel you want and wish to really enjoy!

  • This island is great for snorkeling. There are hotels you can stay if you want to spend the night. We went for a day trip and snorkeling was amazing.
  • Frankly say I was disappointed by the islands of the National Park. We were on the three islands and all was very musorno and dirty, considering how much money you need to pay to you on one of the Islands was taken!

  • ...a beginners' snorkeling adventure starts here....basic amenities is available but not at par for an international tourist attraction. Especially the washrooms and toilets. Tourists especially non-locals were showering nude inside the washroom...
  • One of the most beautiful marine park which included 5 islands and just right in front of the city area, even just took you 10 mins boat will arrived it!!! But a bit disappointed is too much of the tourist go in to the island sometime, the environment a bit cannot afford for the volume of the tourist!!!
  • I can only talk about Sapi Island as it's the only one I've been to but I must say the circumstances were less than ideal. Bad weather so a lot of places were forbidden to snorkel in, so I didn't see anything. They didn't tell me beforehand it was a bad day but they sell tickets to you anyway at Jesselton Point, so maybe ask about the weather conditions before you leave.
  • Horrendous toilet facilities, overcommercialised beach park with nothing to do for free. A huge shame to the beautiful state of Sabah.
  • Conveniently located outside Kota Kinabalu, I've seen whale sharks, eagle rays, moray eels, nudibranches at the islands just 25min from the mainland. It makes for great snorkeling too! It's the best place to learn diving and grab yourself a nice meal or a gourmet coffee after your diving sessions. Food might be expensive on the islands so do pack lunch and drinks for your day out. Best time to visit is April to October, when the water is warm.
