  • A natural hotspring turned ugly with baths built haphazardly for bathers. No beauty at all, more a place to soak in the hot spring that is all. No landscape to beautify the area, such a pity. Rather a...  read more »
  • Pretty good, I liked everything, the truth is there were more expectations from the sources themselves sat, chatted with their feet and left. Walked around the bridge among the tropics that very much:)

  • The sources themselves are weak. Even at Arshan all better. Can individual VIP baths better, I don't know. And here is the opportunity to go on the trail to the waterfall and cave with bats is interesting. And walk on the hanging "paths" a little Rotisserie weakness hot springs.

  • Beautiful accommodation, incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, lovely food. It's great to have access to the pools in the evening after the day visitors have left. Couldn't fault it.
  • A good place for relaxation and peace of mind. Can be crowded during school holidays and public holidays. For maximum comfort, my family stayed in a motel across the road a night before the actual visit to the hot spring. It is opened as early as 6.45am, so guests afar are likely to reach this place around 9am-2pm. Pools and bath tubs are closed around 6pm. There's a difference in entrance fee for local visitors (Malaysian Identity Card holder) and tourist (Non-Malaysian). Overall, it's a very nice place for chilling out with families or friends. Prepare to bring your own towels. Non provided there (although there are some local shops selling them outside of the compound).
  • Poring Hot Spring is one of the most visited attraction at Ranau. However, there are also other beauties to visit other than the sulphur-rich hot bath available to the public. Canopy walk, butterfly park, jungle trekking and waterfall are also available. Although a little bit too focus on the commercial with charges here and there, I would understand its necessity to generate funds to sustain and conserve the nature.
  • Nice rainforest walk with tree top canopy suspension bridge which is fun. Nice waterfalls with little cleaning fish that tickle your feet. The springs are in man made pool areas though.
  • Nice & serene spot to spend time with family. Explore further into the waterfalls area when with group of friends. Surroundings go quiet after 8pm except a few restaurants that are pretty empty. Best is to grab some snacks & beverages and chill the night away indoors for an early dawn.
