Night Market, Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu
(2.6/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Explore the stalls of Night Market, Kota Kinabalu, filled with heaping piles of juicy tropical fruits and spicy chilies, buckets of fish and shellfish, and pyramids of plucked chickens and cuts of meat. Seafood is the specialty here, but you can also find an extremely diverse range of other dishes to try. The pungent intermingling of fish and cooking smells don't make for the most pleasant of eating environments, so consider purchasing some food and consuming it elsewhere. • Last visit QC left the market without attention, now seeing so many positive reviews we decided to visit this place. Immediately rushed the goods in the eye-stale shrimp, obviously dead long ago, did not live, fish seemed less and we have overcome all its squeamishness decided to be like everyone else and still sit at the table. Had to bargain for fish in banana leaf and squid, rice and pineapple juice 1 70 ringit. Meals were cooked, tasteless ryaba bad was emptied and overall quite tasteless. I sadly remembered his visit at the seafood market in the Philippines, where I was able to taste the freshest seafood cooked very tasty. When the shrimp, which are you going to eat still live and not filled with black putrid muck, as our neighbors table who left his lunch. So I figured that all these seafood comes from pomojnyh rivers nearby, where they bred en masse. Near the market saw hordes of rats, so I wouldn't recommend this place as a minimum to preserve health and do not get negative consequences in the form of different worms inside.
