Manukan Island, Kota Kinabalu
(3/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Take a trip to Manukan Island, located in the country's first marine national park. Hop on a speedboat from the mainland and in 20 minutes you're there--on a paradisal island offering natural attractions and plenty of activities. Head to the southern coastline for white sand beaches, where you can venture into the coral reefs just offshore. Get active with scuba diving, parasailing, and banana boating (chalets around the island's coast rent out equipment). A few restaurants serve an array of local specialities with sea views. • Manukan from all islands liked most. Long coastline that allows not to crowd, and find the perfect place where you can spend time. Of course, a lot of noisy Chinese, but they basically are closer to the pier. The water is warm, blue, pure, transparent. Domestic garbage was neither water, nor on the sand. To exit the water didn't like at all. This is not opisuemyj! Many fish met a monitor lizard. About Pier a bunch of sea urchins. In comparison with the other islands, Manukan seemed more enjoyable. Although, compared to the year 2009, the crowd grew.
