  • This market is catered towards locals and is a great place to taste new foods. You can buy pets, plants, fruits, vegetables, and many types of trinkets. The market starts at 6:30 in the morning so come early before the sun gets too hot. Also there are fewer people earlier. Many places serve food along the streets if you want to sit down and take a break from walking around for a while
  • i stumbled across this event. it seemed popular, and there were many, many stands along and on the street. check it out if you're in kk on a sunday.
  • On Sunday, this is a MUST-VISIT place in Kota Kinabalu. Go before noon when the market is lively and try some of the local foods being sold here. Along the way, you can also pick up some great souvenirs from Sabah too.
  • A great place to experience local living. Every Sunday, this place is crowded with locals and tourists. Many street stalls selling local produce and food. Got to come here if your stay includes Sunday.
  • Great! Lots of diversity in the goods/products sold. Very different than the Chinese markets I've seen. Cheap produce, snacks, clothes, electronics, toys, everything. It's a nice stroll after breakfast
