  • The night market stalls full of fish fishy smell, the market tour, we only bought grilled chicken wings and satay skewers, the day is next to the fish market, night into the night market, the present environment is dirty, the sea we dare not easy to try.

  • Every evening, local people will be there to sell freshly caught seafood. More than that, locals also offer fresh seafood and some special snacks. For example, the glutinous rice coconut is outsourced with a layer of syrup, as well as fried dough sticks and local kaya+ butter. Here is a good place for tourists who like to eat authentic food to try to eat ~

  • 18:00 on weekdays heard Kota Kinabalu. Tourists also were filled with local shoppers. Are divided into fruit, fish, meat, gifts and every corner. Customers who bought out so we could sample fruit is good. Roughly there eradicate this often. Because considerably a lot of personality to the Sri requires attention.

  • Good place for souvenirs. lots and lots of choices. But dont be fooled with the price tags. Make sure you haggle a bit. What us there for MYR25-28 you can bring it down to MYR20
  • Good place to visit for tourist. A variety of food and souvenirs to buy. However, please be careful of your personal belongings. Hygiene might not be their strength.
  • There are various stores that you can visit and buy some local snacks such as amplang and kuih cincin. You can also grab some dried anchovies and shrimps to bring back home as cooking ingredients.
  • All stall are selling the similiar things. The cleanliness is acceptable. You can negotiate the price with the owner. It is a good place to buy souvenir.
  • The seafood was so fresh and delicious. Prices is reasonable. And I love the sunset..

Where to stay in Kota Kinabalu

In the area of Sepanggar you'll find the main set of hotels, ranging from simple and mid-priced, to the more luxurious with good sea views. Move away from the coast for more space and privacy in resort-style hotels, which offer a range of facilities and comfortable, sometimes quirky rooms and apartments. Farther out still, you'll find backpacker motels, giving easy access to the surrounding natural attractions that, after all, are the primary reason for being here.
