Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque stands watchfully over the city of Johor Bahru. Built between 1892 and 1900, the Victorian-style mosque is elegant, representing a unique blend of architectural styles with a strong western flair. The minarets are said to be a nod to the style of British watchtowers, and the mix of architectural styles are decidedly Arabian in design. The mosque can accommodate up to 2,000 worshippers and welcomes both muslims and nonmuslims. Be sure to dress respectfully; you will be denied entry otherwise.   • If you are on a day trip from Singapore or on your way to Lego land, worth a visit. Nice architecture. 
  • The mosque was built in the year 1900, which hit the old buildings were visited during the day and in the evening a neat good I even visit the lighting is nice. Located in the heart of Johor Bahru, so easy to get to, and I'm visiting. Admission is possible but enough to casually visit RM3 ~

  • Unfortunately, the Interior of the mosque during our visit were not to enter, but also from the outside, the building is quite worth seeing. Above all, you have beautiful views of the north shore of Singapore from here.
