Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Step through the stone gateway of Lost World Of Tambun, and enter a land of fun and adventure. This well-designed and decorated theme park offers traditional water rides and roller coasters, alongside exciting eco experiences that make use of the park's natural setting, like rock climbing, rappelling, and caving. The petting zoo brings you up close and personal with plenty of friendly critters, and when it's your own feeding time, you'll find international fare themed to suit the area you're in. After all the action, relax in the atmospherically lit hot springs and spa area. • Super dissapointed with the hot springs. Hot springs are articficially powered; not even hot springs at all. Dirty , moss-covered. Third-world looking place managed in a third-world manner.  more »

  • This place exceeded our expectations. Though there weren't many theme park rides (1) or water slides (2), it was the Petting Zoo and animal enclosures that blew us away. They were meticulous to ensure a seamless integration between what was man made and nature. You'll have to look for the hidden gem at the Petting Zoo, a stairway that leads to a tarantula exhibit which eventually takes you to a wetland enclosure filled with greenery and surrounded by limestone cliffs so amazing you'd think you just stepped into a Jurassic Park movie set. I won't say more, you'll have to discover it yourself.
  • Good to spend a whole day or two - amazing water slides and merry-go- rounds. You get also something to know about tin mining history. Really crowded during peak hours.
  • Great fun. Nice water park. Perfect for a fun day out.
  • Just amazing,,, it's really good place for family gathering as well as friends. You should come here with a lot of time to enjoy a great day
  • A great theme park for local tourists and international tourists. I loved this place so much. But too bad the locker service is getting more and more expensive

Where to stay in Ipoh

The main concentration of lodgings in Ipoh currently cluster in the newly developed sections of town. Beware of a proliferation of hotels in Ipoh attributing generous stars to their names--a practice that doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of some of the establishments. Do your research in advance to avoid disappointment. The range of available options is huge, with several Ipoh hotels catering to different budgetary needs. The luxury hotels here often have annexed spa and wellness treatment centers.
