Art of OLDTOWN, Ipoh

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.9/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Explore the streets and murals at Art of OLDTOWN. Scattered around the old part of town and created by renowned Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, these murals represent the city's cultural and artistic heritage. Many of the images celebrate the white coffee the city is famous for, which you can try at any one of the nearby cafes. Bring your camera to snap a few photos of these outdoor art statements, most of which incorporate street features to create a striking effect. • 立陶苑畫家畫的7幅壁畫, 各有特色, 好像野外定向搵位置. 每幅畫都好大, 畫了2年仍保存得宜, 惟標示不清楚, 加上天氣炎熱, 最終只看到5幅.
  • All over Ipoh so get yourself a map with all the sites marked on. Not as good as Georgetown but still well worth a visit.
  • Ipoh municipality decided to improve the image of the old districts of the old Malay Ipoh city and do it cheaply and quickly. Placed a few street installations and drew Lithuanian street-artist Ernest Zakharevich. All would be nothing if not complete secondary made. All this, including street art Zakharevich was achieved at Penang.
