Cave Nature / Park
Gua Tempurung is one of the largest limestone caves in peninsular Malaysia. The cavern features over 2 km (1.2 mi) of tunnels, with some sections developed for tourism with secure walkways and artificial lighting. Notice the many stalagmites and stalactites, marble walls, and ceilings that look like coconut shells. Wear sturdy sports shoes and bring a flashlight. • It is very chill in the cave. Able to reach peak to peak within few minutes depending the speed you are at. I have enjoyed the calmness in the cave and the lighting. Try the wet tour and surprises you...  more »

  • You can enjoy here. There is a huge cave. Meals(malaysian food) also there but not expensive. Difficult to access from public transport. There is no grab service in this area. Better thing is,if u want to go see this place please use own transport method or here vehicle. Taxi service is more expensive.
  • Great place to explore cave. Recommend to take grand tour (ask the ranger for grand tour plus if ur tough enough), better be prepared with rubber shoes, comfortable long pants, and head lamp. The tour will be consume lots of stamina, covered with mud, and bruised. The grand tour will take up to 4-5 hour (11 a.m is the last admission), depending on how fast the group can compete with the ranger.
  • The presence of steps in the cave trail has made it possible for everyone to enjoy the interesting stalactites formations in the cave. The area is also well kept.
  • This is a huge cave. When you plan to go there, you have definitely to choose tour 4 (wet tour) which is like an adventure tour. Because you are able to go as deep as possible into the cave and you can see so many beautiful things. I did not publish any if the inside picture because the impression you will get inside is much much more than you would see on a picture. If you go there, you need to dress "old" clothes, good shoes, a lamp (you can buy it there as well). And be prepared to get wet and dirty. Because you need to crawl and slip you need your hands to be safe. Who likes adventures have to go there!
  • Extra plus of adventure for the toughest. Once in here, make sure use good & long thick pants (will have sliding down the stone) good gripping shoes, headlamp (also can use torch but bit harder when u need to do comando's move & down the slippery stone) & long sleeves t shirt (good for comando's move). The tourist guide really helpful & full of knowledge. Good Job Gua Tempurung staff Crew & Rangers!
