  • This was sadly a waste of time. I went into this with low expectations, given that it's free and based on the reviews here, and it was still disappointing. A "guide" drags you through the exhibits tal...  more »
  • Before going here, I knew that it wasn't really a museum. It's a chocolate store that's added some educational materials. I was fine with that, but still wanted to see the museum section because it's ...  more »

  • Choco butik to eat and look on chocolate. Nothing special but nice)
  • The prices are way higher than the market price. Bought a few boxes as souvenir; were 'forced' to pay for 2 extra woven bags which I didn't request and were 'automatically' included in my bill. Felt quite annoyed after checking the bill but it was too late to return to the shop as I have already left Penang. Please check your bill before leaving the shop and make sure that they do not included any 'unwanted' item in your bill without your consent.
  • It's a shop but not required to buy at all. Good atmosphere.
  • It's a tourist rip-off. Prices for chocolate are at least three times higher than what you would pay in a supermarket. It didn't seem that prices were negotiable. They do have a good assortment and you can taste many different kinds of chocolate, though.
  • Too expensive, double price of normal ones.
