  • Reasonably big mansion to look around. When we arrived we paid to get in and looked around on our own. On leaving we saw guided tours in English which we hadn't been told about when we arrived and wou...  more »
  • 非常推薦值得一遊的景點,建築本身跟展覽品都非常精美,認真要欣賞完全部的細節可以花上一天的時間。 展館也定時提供中文導覽,不需另付費用。
  • One of Georgetown tour was a visit to the Peranakan mansion. After Temple in the Chinatown area and street art tour we headed over here. Sri mahamariamman Temple is facing the North Queen Street and turn to the right towards Anon, peppermint green building. Admission is 20 MYR (ringgit Malaysia) + tax, so 21. Pay 2 MYR. Plenty of room and into the Interior of the building, was packed with Peranakan household goods and decorations are gorgeous. I thought it was a good, but very small. Decided one after another pose throughout the wedding photos?, dressed for the wedding couple, wanted to take pictures.

  • it looks very small and nothing to see outside, but quite impressive inside with a massive collection of Old day Dynasty like treasure. It is good to follow the free service (English) tour guide.
  • Fantastic.. RM 20 entry fee with free tour guide. Important things is understand baba nyonya culture
  • Truly fascinating collections of Peranakan decorations and artefacts etc. Partly historical, partly set up for the museum purpose, enjoyable nonetheless. The gift shop is forgettable with steep prices on common things. The collections of beaded slippers and accessories however are amazing,
  • Our family would like to extend a gesture of appreciation to Uncle Henry for leading the tour that imparted meaning into the age old Baba Nonya heritage from the living quarters to the museum and kitchen.
  • Great museum with lots of peranakan artefacts. Must visit museum in Penang.
