  • Definitely a must visit for folks who are interested in the Peranakan culture. Our guide, Stanley was humorous and knowledgeable (in English). His quick witted trivals made the crowd laugh throughout the tour. The house and exhibits are very exquisite and well maintained. Definitely well worth the RM 21 spent for entry.
  • Amazingly well preserved artifacts. Very interesting to look at and to listen. There are English/Chinese/Thai/Cantonese tours for tourists. Special thanks to our tour guide Stanley who made it even more enjoyable! Definitely would recommend for tourists & locals!
  • Good place to learn about the Peranakan culture. It is a good idea to join the free guided tour with their detailed explanation of the various rooms.
  • Well worth visit. Has English guided tour. To improve the tour should be advertised on entry to the place.
  • We arrived very early, 9.30 (opening time) and enjoyed for 21.20 RM an amazing 3 people tour with Super Yeoh. Good level of English, passionate, with sense of humour...1h45 of guided visit and some time on our own, too. The rest of the Staff was very courteous and friendly, adding their own explanations. For me, a must visit in Penang. The loud Chinese groups arrive very early, so don't come late!
