  • On our walk through the city, we came across the gold Museum. On the images of yielding before the door were interesting representations of the panning for gold and other things. As my wife always wanted to pan for gold, we bought us two tickets a 26.00 RM. After two minutes of waiting, we were picked up and brought in a screening room, where you could watch as silver was melted and then formed into a silver bullion. After the cool down could take to the small bars (500 grams) in the hand. We were amazed, the a such small bars so has a weight. The Declaration and the leadership was made in English, which we but virtually not understood, because the debate was very bad! Then it went through a few corridors which should act as a tunnel with representations from the Gold Rush era to panning for gold. Here, we got the Aluschüssel and allowed to wash sand in which were a few shiny placed metal parts. After some efforts, we have been looking for! You could keep the washed Fakegold. Then it went to a mining car in which ore was placed! Then a few explanations to degradation and Prägetechnicken and coins of different countries and then into a salesroom in which gold could be obtained from 0.5 grams. All in all very cheesy and naively made and then the really bad English of only three stars.

  • Georgetown St theme Museum is located near the Church of George Golden. Penang was anything but gold production, why architectural Museum of gold in Penang? That is not known about gold dust and gold for money please can be found. However, World Heritage sites and don't stop for tourists is around, I think.

  • For 28k the experience was worthy. The staffs were young, energetic. They guuide us all the way through.
  • Feels like a place that dig my money. The exhibits are really old and dusty. You see missing pieces of exhibits in the cabinet. Like a hole there. There's really not much to see. I'd rather walk around the area and look at the old colonial buildings.
  • Fun and educational! Live silver pouring and gold panning is the best of the visit! Great experience! 👍👍👍
  • Good experience on how gold is found and produced to b gold bars. The only downside is, it doesn't look like a musuem, more like a bank. There's a Public Bank nearby, so many people think it's associated with the bank. Hard to find parking
  • Learning about how gold were produce..from mining to accessories.
