  • Ground floor Timetunnel has reasonable history of Penang. After that they have someone to take photos for you (using your camera, and holding lights where needed). Top floor has a collection fancy put-yourself-in movie fluorescent/UV art and other optical 'illusion' art.
  • Very fun! Had a lot of pictures taken inside. Worth every penny!
  • I read about the Pinang history here, very interesting and after my visit here I understand more about Pinang, George town and the Unesco world heritage list. The 3D art pictures are fun and also worth a visit.
  • Very good experience, especially if you are interested in the historical aspects of Penang. The 3D stuffs are very cool, mostly for kids though. Staffs are polite and helpful.
  • Very nice place. Its has penang history museum, 3d gallery, fluoroscent room and more. You should come here

Where to stay in George Town

As an established tourist destination, George Town offers a range of options making use of the city's famous architectural diversity, with boutique hotels in the old town themed around the history of the building they occupy. For such singular accommodations, expect to pay a little more. Budget hotels and unbranded local options provide a comfortable night sleep at an affordable rate. The coastal areas offer more expensive resort-style luxury rooms with sea views, while away from the beaten track, you'll find backpacker hostels providing good options for those wanting to keep on the move.
