  • The ride to the top is nice and fresh. It's new quick and steep! You can walk but it's a big hike so prepare. Once at the top make sure there are no clouds otherwise you'll be disappointed. Other than that there isn't much. A lot is very expensive and old. View is great if there are no clouds.
  • Breath Taking! The journey to Penang Hill is worth the effort and a must see when visiting Penang. I took the bus from the Jeti in George Town for 2 ringgit. You stay on the bus until it arrives at the funicular station. The funicular itself is a great experience and you are soon at the top which is 712m above sea level. Follow the walk way into the food court and either go downstairs for the Owl Museum or up stairs to exit the building and out on top of Penang Hill. There's plenty to see and do and once you arrive at the observation deck have you cameras ready because the view is stunning. I had to wait for the mist to clear but mid afternoon it was good enough to see for miles.
  • Nice view over the city. Would recommend everyone do it. You can get the tram up, but if you want some exercise, get to the botanical gardens and take the 5km walk up. It's not an easy walk...be prepared and a reasonable fitness level. At worst you should be able to hitchhike up.
  • A typically prototype for any ASEAN members of building the tropical eco industry with the own and unique dom3stic cultures.
  • Check the weather and find a good day make sure it's not cloudy. I prefer to go at the evening and stay up till night. Basically there's not much up there , just a few fruit stall. It's a place to relax and just chill. Fresh air and the best night view in Penang I'll say. It's a great place to come with some friends and take lots of pictures, it's so empty so u can do anything u like😂
