3.8/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web
Stroll around the city's "green lung" at Penang Botanical Gardens. Established by the British on the site of an old granite quarry in 1884, the public gardens stretch out across 29 hectares (72 acres). Amble across the scenery to find the famous trees that live here, many with evocative nicknames like "the five o'clock tree" (its buds close just before dark). If you need a little exercise during your trip, come here for a jog, jungle trekking, or aerobics. Spot the many animals that call the park home, with long-tailed macaques, dusky leaf monkeys, and black giant squirrels among the favorites. • An elderly lady "Monkeyfruits" sold at the entrance to the lure of monkey, if you have fear of this small devil do NOT BUY (who stole the bag me), if you have a thrill want to BUY. What you really should do, however, is to provoke the monkeys. One thinks sic no harm, shows a monkey teeth, which begins to hiss and you have to laugh. This shows the teeth another man accidentally what has resulted that at once the whole monkey-gang surrounded one and oneself, if one has no "Monkeyfruits" more runs in serious danger "to buying off" to be bitten.
