  • Nice mosque , probably same like others, saw from outside while strolling around. Had some golden top. You will see it while walking around heritage area in Georgetown.

  • The mosque is a nice building from the outside, but doesn't take long to look and didn't look too spectacular.

  • Beautiful Moorish plus some Roman architecture, typical of great mosques built during British colonial era. The mosque serves the parish living nearby, just like when it was first built 200 years...

  • That was quite impressed to visit this mosque. Not because of an specific architecture but because it is the oldest mosque of Georgetown. It just celebrated 200 years in 2021. It's very beautiful from inside and outside. I was lucky enough to have Jummah prayer there. When I was there , it was at 2 pm, I would recommend to get there at least 30 minutes earlier, so that you can get a space. It fills up very quickly. Here, women have a separate building, so they can join Jummah prayer without any challenges.
  • It is said one of the oldest mosque in Penang Island or nationwide (probably). Its architecture reminds me of Masjid Baiturrahman in Banda Aceh,Indonesia.I did sholat zuhur there and felt the cool & relax ambience. One of jamaah handed me some brochures provide a serial informations about Islam.nice touch btw! I would definitely come back again to explore Penang someday!
  • Masjid with beautitul design. It's quite artistic and aesthetic. Must visit when you're in Georgetown area, Penang. Best visit during normal Dzuhur prayer time. Can experience prayer with locals then explore it by taking pictures inside.
  • Another place of worship that I wish I can enter but due to the current pandemic, it was still closed to visitors last year when I visited the island. Still, I am glad I managed to take some good pics from the exterior. It will still be here when I return (hopefully sooner than I expect).
  • Parking is a bit difficult, otherwise this mosque is a lovely place either to visit or to pray. Clean, plenty of space and the architecture is unique.
