  • Chinese temple always packed out. You approach and a great smoke envelops you, that of fake money being "shipped" to the deceased through a bonfire to be able to buy in the afterlife. And then the incense of all sizes. Does enough impression all this devotion now unknown to us Westerners.

  • This is a very busy urban temple that worshipers attend throughout the day. It is a practical temple where needs are met in a down to earth manner. When I visited the temple, it was filled with worshipers and a couple who had brought their baby to be blessed. The monk walked to the front alter and conducted their ceremony; while in the rear room, the other worshipers made offerings of oil and lit incense.
  • One of the oldest and most famous Taoist temple in Penang. Especially packed with devotees during the 1st day of every Lunar month and also during the annual Lunar New Year. Also during the birthday of the deity Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy.
  • Really good... went and ask a favor, and was blessed with it...
  • Pious ambient around it. A small temple.
  • It's there. It's interesting.
