  • Abt 45mins drive from kuantan town. Nothing much, it's like a kampung house with a few ponds at the backyard. A few bigger turtles can be found in the pond, and some cute black baby turtles... Actually, am quite disappointed that msia is always not good in maintaining such natural resources or conservations...
  • If you’re interested in wildlife conservation, then the Cherating Turtle Sanctuary – located beside Club Med – is a good place to head to. You can see tanks with baby and rehabilitating sea turtles and you can also glean information about the laying and hatching periods of these gentle sea creatures. The best time to visit is between April and August when you can participate in night tours that allow you to see the turtles come ashore to lay eggs.
  • Was great to see the collection of turtles (including babies) and a reasonably interesting information section, but would have been good to have a volunteer/guide available to answer questions (how old the turtles were? when would the be released?)
  • They do good work and provide information on the wall. The older turtles seem lonely and have little place. Its free.
  • You can see the turtle... haha
