Specialty Museum
Take a trip through Malaysia's past at Time Tunnel Museum, housing a collection of over 4,000 objects, knick-knacks, and memorabilia from the 20th century. Relive your childhood or imagine a life before you were born by examining a somewhat haphazardly arranged exhibit space. Alongside the physical artifacts, you can look at more than 1,000 historical photographs. One corner of the museum tells the story of Jim Thompson, a prominent figure in the silk trade who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the 1960s. • An interesting for kids and adults.. Better if you bring your parents along because they will be able to tell you what is this and that. But the museum did not control the crowd. So slowly, there are ...  more »
  • The museum is small and can be done with in 20 mins. It has all the old stuff that children has not seen before. It is educational for children to find out what there is in the past.  more »
  • This museum showcased not just old stuff from Cameron Highlands including its' rich history but also items and artefacts from days bygone. It would definitely be worth a visit!  more »

  • A tiny but nice place with many oldschool stuff. Cheap entry fee (5-7 ringgit). First come some pictures with the brief history of Malaysia then you can see a lot of retro things. It is a bit dark but you can handle it.
  • Old school stuff and insight to cameron history. Very nolstelgic place. Must visit in Cameron.
  • This museum is a very meaningful and historical place. You can see a lot of historical stories of cameron highlands as well as some of the toys and stuffs during our grandparents generation. But one thing to be mentioned is that the place is too dark. It is difficult to take pictures and look more like a haunted place rather than a museum.
  • Worth going at least once. It has a lot of memorabilia from the 80s, 70s.
  • Meaningful place. Lots of old-school stuff let you understand old time Malaysian life.
