Time Tunnel Museum, Brinchang
(3.4/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Take a trip through Malaysia's past at Time Tunnel Museum, housing a collection of over 4,000 objects, knick-knacks, and memorabilia from the 20th century. Relive your childhood or imagine a life before you were born by examining a somewhat haphazardly arranged exhibit space. Alongside the physical artifacts, you can look at more than 1,000 historical photographs. One corner of the museum tells the story of Jim Thompson, a prominent figure in the silk trade who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the 1960s. • Visited 2 years back and this round no change. Nothing new in fact most of the nearby shops closed.... run down not worth visit
  • but also mixed with really old products. Tour usually included a sightseeing. Was not so fascinating.

  • A dusty dark place crammed with so many old memorabilias and photos. My husband and I had the time of our lives here. Spent at least half hour in this place considering we were on a tight schedule. Ti...  more »

  • If you are a child of the 60's and 70's, or if you're a history buff, then you'd love this place. As another reviewer mentioned, you can probably finish the whole tour within the hour. Don't expect a lavish setup or interactive displays. All exhibits are static. At RM6 per entry, it was money and time well-spent for me.
  • It is worth the visit in my opinion. You could probably finish viewing the whole place within an hour or even 30 mins but the things you see inside are really of antique value and would be worth the visit. It sure is what the name suggest - a time tunnel. Putting you through all the old stuff that you'd probably only see in old age movies.
  • A great activity to do as it brings back childhood memories and has tons of memorabilia to look at & prompt nostalgia. Also provides young children a historical view of how many everyday items have evolved over the decades.
  • Got few interesting stuff which date back to few decades. don't set high expectations or else you will be disappointed
  • A slightly odd and disjointed collection of artifacts from different eras. No real story, and topped off with loads of strange Internet memes and stories posted everywhere. Strange.
