Big Red Strawberry Farm, Brinchang

(3.3/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Pick your own berries at Big Red Strawberry Farm, which cultivates fruits and lettuces hydroponically. At the cafe, tuck into strawberry waffles, strawberry ice cream, salad, lettuce juice, and more, made using the freshest ingredients from the farm. Purchase strawberry products and strawberry-themed souvenirs at the shop. You can also buy a variety of ornamental potted plants at the farm's garden center. The entire farm is covered, so don't worry about visiting in bad weather. For best pickings, try to time your visit for sometime between June and August, the peak of strawberry season. Big Red Strawberry Farm is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Cameron Highlands Edition.

  • The visit was quite fun when we get to pick the strawberries ourselves, they have pretty big ones, and it's very juicy. For RM 50, you can pick up to a kg. Not too bad an experience. Saw some rats run...  more »

  • Popular café and hydroponic strawberry picking destination located right outside of Bringchang. However, most people do not pick strawberries themselves as it is a relatively expensive activity. Munching on strawberries as you pick them is not appropriate. One can also find strawberries all over the Cameron highlands, for even better prices than sold at Big Red Strawberry Farm.
  • Good place for a stroll. Nothing much other than flowers/cactus to look at/buy. Food not really appealing
  • Everything strawberries! Parking was no issue (they had lots of parking space). We went to pick fresh strawberries, and were given 2 plastic trays with scissors. After fumbling around for a while to find the plot open at the time, we found lots of ripe strawberries for the picking (the ones closer to the entrance were obviously harvested by earlier customers, but there were ample ones further in). Everyone had fun.
  • This place seemed very touristy. You can pick your own strawberries but we had done that at a different farm. They have lots of strawberry desserts and stuff which were okay. I would recommend Mountain Strawberry Farm over this for picking strawberries. If you want desserts, then Big Red is probably the place for you.
  • berbaloi petik strawberry + strawberry manis 👍👍👍
