  • We really did had a good experienced shopping at this night market..it was awesome...choices n varieties were great. Regrat seeing many stalls were run by foreigners instead of Malaysians...the Penang...  more »
  • It is especially touristisch, t-shirts, bags, sunglasses, souvenirs ... as well a nice evening stroll. But so hard earn money. Much competition haggling M O E T Dress 6 euros, light 5 euro ... Despite narrow market stalls no transit (!!).

  • Every night there are these stalls that run along the main road to Batu Ferringhi one attached to each other so much that sometimes it is difficult to walk because there are a lot of people and machines. You can find cool stuff at low prices although after they become repetitive between clothing, electronics varies, magnets, glasses, bags, etc..

  • We had a good time at the night market. The food is cheap & delicious, you can choose from several lil restaurants with indian, Malaysian, chinese, thai or western food. It was quite an experience. The things you could buy at the market weren't to impressive tho. Mainly fake handbags, glasses and watches, printed tshirts and some touristy souvenirs. It still gives you a very nice insight of the life in Penang. We can recommend it 👍🏻
  • It is an awesome experience to just casually walk around and see the market. Great place to get some funny t shirts and almost everything is available for Tazers to watches etc! Dropped a star because it can get very crowded so not great for those with baby strollers or on wheelchairs. Food options are also plentiful and mostly very good (at very reasonable prices).
  • ok to pass the time in the evening if you are staying around batu ferringhi/tanjung bungah, otherwise no need to bother coming all the way here from town. there are better night markets elsewhere.
  • Very touristy night market, a little pricey compared to other markets. Still worth a visit if you're in penang, just to check out the beach and different street food.
  • Ideal for tourists. Souvenirs like key chains, magnets and other recommended. Imitations of clothing (Fake market) are not of very good quality. As a cultural walk is good. I recommend fruit juices
