Croc Farm, Antananarivo

See basks of captive crocodiles lazing in the sun waiting for their meal at Croc Farm, a commercial crocodile farm breeding the animals for meat and skin. The park is also a botanical garden featuring many Madagascar trees providing shelter to lemurs, tortoises, chameleons, and even a rare fossa. Some of the crocs are well over 6 m (20 ft) long, look for them among the several thousand bred here. The park has a restaurant offering croc burgers and grilled crocodile steaks, and you can also see and buy various crocodile leather products. • A beautiful park with beautiful plants in the quiet of the hustle and bustle of Tana. Beautiful crocodiles and friendly lemurs but the fossas, in a small enclosure, do not look healthy. It hurts the heart. Better to see Madagascar's animals in one of the island's natural parks

  • The farm is 40 minutes. walking away from the airport. It is open until 5 p.m. As a guide no one offered himself, but the guide is not particularly needed. The territory of the park is not small, a lot of paths. Formally fenced areas, which are inhabited by chameleons, turtles, snakes, frogs. Enclosures with birds and two phoss. A mass of different plants. Everywhere there are plaques with the description of each plant or little animal. Near the territories, which were signs about chameleons, it was fun to play with his daughter in the game: "find the chamaleon." As a result, the friendship won with a score of 12:12. Actually, now about the crocodiles themselves. ...

  • Very nice park and a guide who knows him very well. Only downside, the visit is very fast so Tana a lot of road for a short time on site, you have to plan something else to do in the vicinity

  • Just amazing. Real wildlife. So many crocodiles. You can even feed a lemur.
  • Nice
  • The crocodile farm was a nice family outing. Priced ok for a European. There was little going on. The food was alright, could be more servings and selection. Quiet atmosphere with vielevielem to move animals.
