Maison de Victor Hugo in Vianden, Vianden
Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Briefly used as a home by the famed writer Victor Hugo, Maison de Victor Hugo in Vianden offers four floors of refurbished rooms with artifacts relating to the writer's life. Ask for an audio guide from the reception desk to help you on your self-guided tour, because the documents and information plates are all in French. Each room is laid out simply with furniture from the 19th century, as well as white-washed sculptures of the great writer himself using the room as he may have during his time in Vianden. Be careful not to confuse the museum with the Hotel de Victor Hugo across the street. A Luxembourg City card includes admission to this house. Plan your visit to Maison de Victor Hugo in Vianden and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Vianden vacation trip planner.
