  • The St-Michel Church, built on the site of the first Church of Luxembourg (in 987) is a church in Gothic (and roman) style with a surprising charm. Old walls and an ancient altar make this church a magical place. This finding near the rock of the Bock and his Castle, a must for all people who love the old walls.

  • The origin of this church dates back to the 10th century. At the fish market, located in the old town, it towers over the old ramparts. The building history is long and complicated. Worth seeing is the colourful decoration of the Interior, the beautiful star vault, the Baroque high altar (transferred to 1780 from the Augustinian monastery church), the altarpiece of 1642 and the stained glass Windows created in the 1960s. An organ in St. Michael is already in 1609. The housing of the present organ was built already in 1662. in 1969 the organ was completely rebuilt by George Waller and minor changes to the disposition made during a renovation in 1987.
