(440+ reviews on the web)
Landmark Tourist Spot
Once a parade ground for troops, Place d'Armes today sits as a gathering place for city residents. Stately architectural gems border the square, including the municipal palace, known as the Cercle. You'll recognize the building for the three arches over its entry and top-floor windows, as well as a relief depicting the Charter of Emancipation, when Countess Ermesinde granted freedoms and duties to nobility for the people of Luxembourg. A marketplace area hosts people every year and offers a broad selection of handcrafted goods and tasty treats. No matter what time of year you visit, take time to indulge in the cafe culture here. • Central square in the middle of the pedestrianised area. The square is surrounded by a range of cafés and restaurants, all with outside seating in the square. A great place to relax, eat or have drink...  more »
  • The place is an ordinary square like many similar in European cities. for walking and having a nice food, this place is recommended.  more »

  • Came here when our usual weekend breakfast spot was closed. I've had bread from here many times (always good) but had the brunch for the first time — was a very nice surprise. Fresh fruit, pastries, salmon, salads, charcuterie, and eggs cooked to order. It's also quieter when eating upstairs. Will definitely return.
  • I went for breakfast and had the baguette plus coffee option. Great deal. Bread is super fresh and coffee is good. The place gets noisy and can be crowded. Staff is friendly. Sandwiches to go are tasty. And bread is good.
  • Nice little cafe ! Like other French speaking cafe, English doesn't work very well . :)
  • I love Paul's bread. Lucky to find there, great location.
  • Quick, pleasant service in a very attractive and clean space in a great location. Nice clean restrooms (on the -1 level). Lunch was excellent - crepe with chevre and tomatoes, a small salad on the side, half-liter of water, and a rhubarb tarte for about 15 euros.
