Where to stay in Luxembourg City

With 24 districts making up Luxembourg City, you might have a hard time choosing what neighborhood you like best. For starters, look at accommodations in Ville Haute, the medieval center, where you’ll be at the heart of the city and within walking distance to main attractions as well as public transportation. If stunning views are what you’re after, look into Ville Basse, a central neighborhood in the city’s gorge. Gare is also well-located, home to the city’s main train station as well as many lively restaurants and cafes filled with locals. Whether you stay in one of the city’s few hostels or a hotel, be prepared for high prices.

  • Huge museum and free none the less! Fantastic Roman mosaic and artifacts. Really well put together and had English translation in booklets. Newer exhibits have English on them.
  • Very nice museum. They have free entry when only standard exhibition is available. Coffee place is cosy and serves delicious cheesecake.
  • Free entry and interesting architecture, as you move to the floors, you move up through history. Great for a rainy day in Lux City.
  • Very nice building. Exhibits just ok.
  • Amazing museum and building, and it's free.
