Get a taste of bubbly at Caves Bernard Massard where a large, elegant winery rests next to the Morelle River. A guided tour includes one, two, or three flutes of sparkling wine along with a walk-through of the cellars that are partially housed in caves. Keep in mind that the admission price rises slightly with each consecutive glass of wine. These tours are offered throughout the day during the peak season, but you must make an appointment. The winery offers an interesting addition to your tour: a butterfly garden with a range of flowering plants. Before you embark on the tours, you'll view a short movie about the history of the winery and the cultivation of the local white grape varieties. zum Anfang war es ganz nett, wir wurden als 2er Gruppe auf den kleinen Rundgang begleitet. wer noch keine Ahnung von Schaumwein Herstellung hat, für den wird es recht informativ sein, alles auch in ei... more »at the beginning, it was quite nice, we were accompanied as 2 the small tour group. who have no idea of sparkling wine production for which it is quite informative, everything in a good 5 min film combined. occurs after the tasting, with the selects to the number of wines. After the extensive lecture on the subject of quality of the House we were then 2 sparkling wines which may carry the name of cremant (because of imported manufactured grund weinen reason weinen somewhere). for a sparkling wine connoisseurs these are barely edible, and frankly I'm not going for it for a weekend to Luxembourg! for this reason's stay at one small swallow but you promised us better... you had asked us if we wanted 2 glasses of the same his taste 3 times or better 6 different what we gladly accepted. just we were each 15 min before a glass (!) before we got the chance the next wine to taste. 3rd wine then Château schengen of the variety auxerois burning interested us, then the pinot gris again long wait. Finally we would like to have one you clos rocher tasted. Finally, the lady read look (3 staff took care of 5 tables and in particular their private conversations in the background!) and countered that inquiry with a "we don't serve the, since the production is too low! I can give them the... (and meant a wine from the bassislinie!) What we refused the and were disappointed. Conclusion: 30min guided tour, an hour (!) for the degustation wines the promised 6 verplempert which we have received just 4. Tasting in each way unprofessional, a price list we had to ask several times because we like to cry had bought and the acclaimed wines are not available in the tasting. cost €9 per person! Please makes but a guided tour and offers wines by glass in the sale of discretion or let it stay better. otherwise the level ranges but shut for notorious "butter"trips / bus tours from senior groups + free glass sparkling wine.
We kregen dit huis als tip bij de Makro, zonder het te kennen naar Luxemburg gereden om het zelf te ervaren. Wijn was top! Tour nice but quite short and idd with a movie, but that you see in Porto also ... Location is top, butterfly garden I'm not. We were on the bike to work-can try and have the car the next day full of loaded. We have not done, tour several houses tasted but nothing came up above this House. The guide was dry, but certainly not unfriendly. I found that he had a sense of humour and was happy to see him the next day in the shop. Shop is fun and there is also there to taste it. We got in a smaller glass at the tasting also something on it and I'll certainly back when the bottles are empty.

Great tour, lovely polite staff speaking all English, French or German. We went on the tour and did a tasting afterwards. The tour was excellent- interesting and informative. The tasting was great - with a good selection to try from.
Tour and three sparkling wines for 9 Euro. We were a group of four persons and after a short but very nice tour through the winery with a guide, how gave nice information about the storage, etc. they showed us also a movie about its history and production. After the tour we could enjoy our tasting on the balcony with a wonderful view on the mosel. Faztit: Really worth to visit. Recommendation: the tour incl. three sparkling wines for 9 euro
