Rockhal, Esch-sur-Alzette
(4.3/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)
Situated on a former industrial site, Rockhal covers all things rock music, from production to its performance. The main hall's 6,500-seat capacity hosts rock bands, such as Korn and Prodigy. A smaller venue, called the Club, which holds just over 1,000 people, hosts bands that aren't as well known but who can still rock out with a decent crowd. Up-and-coming bands also find a home in the Rockhalcafe, where acts on a small stage keep you entertained while you chow down on some classic pub food. Visit the attraction's website for a calendar of events and to purchase tickets. Big-name bands sell out fast, so buy tickets early, but you can grab a ticket for smaller shows from the box office when you arrive. • Certainly one of the lighthouse for good concerts. Service security very often stupid and away from respectful to the audience.

  • So to be honest... it's about the only worthy of the name concert hall to the Luxembourg. It is trend but without being at the top. The organizers are in my opinion not at the top... and a concert hall at average organizers is able. The drinks are overpriced. At well visited concert, you wait a long time before being served. Small restaurant in front of the door, but you will wait too long...

  • For some concerts it is too small. For those groups who do not get that much attention, there is a smaller room, which gives a lot of fun when really crowded. The service during concerts is not at it'...  more »

  • Great venue for a live show. Everything is ridiculously expensive, but thats standard now.
  • Great intimate venue. Well appointed and accessible.
  • Its a hell of a lot better organised than the Atelier. A lot more standing place during almost every event and not overcrowded but with a lot if people with a good ambiance. Very difficult to pull off
  • Great place for a live show! Small and the sound is perfect
  • Luxembourg's main concert venue. Reachable by train. Concert ticket usually includes train usage
