  • Vingis Park (Vingio parkas) is the largest park in the city centre, it occupies an area of 160 hectares. The Park is very beautiful and well maintained. It is a favorite place to walk and rest for the inhabitants of Vilnius. In the Park you can walk, ride a bike and roller skaters. Or just breathe pine air. Pine trees in the Park are just extraordinary. In the park there are two entrances-from street m. k. Čiurlionio and Birutės Street. Near the park entrance from the street side m. k. Čiurlionio stands a chapel in the style of classicism. Next to it is a cemetery of German soldiers. In the center of the Park is located near the Estrada which many attractions for the little kiddies and cafes. On stage often hosts concerts and events. In 1993 year at the spivoche pole before Estrada had been celebrating mass here Pope John Paul II in 1988 year-held rallies "Sajudis". Daily walks at the spivoche pole before Estrada was held the finals of international competitions on Concours hippique CSI2 */CSIYH1. We went and looked at the horses. They are so beautiful, and watching them a pleasure. At some point to the fence went up and said baby horse: "give me a paw". This is great poveselilo. There is a small video about this in photographs. A walk in the park for a great deal of fun. Highly recommend necessarily go to the Park and take a leisurely walk on it. Also nice to get out of Park Street side m. k. Čiurlionio and walk on it. It is a quiet lane and respectable district of Vilnius. On the street there are new buildings and old houses with balconies, swathed in flowers. But some balconies can be seen an Angel. See photos. Very nicely.

  • The cemetery is the touching and beautiful. In the Park a lot of exercise-taken and the instruments that can be rented. The song of the stage close to a few coffee shop/restaurant. Close to the city centre. The weather is definitely worth a visit.

  • It's really just a big open field with an amphitheater at the front and a statue of the man who was instrumental in some of the singing competitions. However, the story of the significance behind this...  more »

  • It's always nice to walk in this park. Some people walking with dogs, some people just ride a bike, park is full of romantic, lots of couples walking and holding each over hands. Perfect place for chill out if weather is good.
  • When it comes to sports and free-time activities, this is my No1 spot to go. It's really nice and clean Park. People here are really friendly, which makes atmosphere here fantastic. Vingis Park is a perfect place for various types of activities: from a long walks to cycling and any other outdoor activity. Definitely recommend this park, especially if you want to escape the rush of our capital Vilnius.
  • This is a park inside the forest. Which means that you can rent a bike, grab a coffee in one of the shops, but also you can just go into wilder places by one of the trails and stay just with the trees. Concerts and events are not uncommon here, with huge open air stage. Parking is free on Sundays.
  • Strictly speaking, this is a park. A nice one, too. What I enjoyed far more is the surroundings of the park; on the way in, it's like walking through a forest! Gorgeous trees are everywhere for what seems like more than a kilometre. On the outside of the park from another side is a botanical garden. So yes, the park is nice, but not nearly as glorious as what surrounds it.
  • Very good place for relax. Biggest Vilnius park with great paths. Neris river surounds park and adds additional bonus.
