Vilnius TV Tower, Vilnius
(4/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
As the tallest building in the country, Vilnius TV Tower offers unrivaled views and holds a memorial for those who died in 1991 resisting Soviet troops. Standing more than 326 m (1,071 ft) tall (with its antenna included), the tower rises above Vilnius, forming a notable piece of its skyline. Ascend via elevator to the observation platform; from here you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings, or get a drink or bite to eat at the tower's cafe. The entire platform makes a complete revolution once every hour. Don't miss the museum on the ground floor, dedicated to the 14 Lithuanian civilians killed in their attempts to blockade Soviet forces in 1991 and defend their country's newly asserted independence. • Views from the tower. It rotates around its axis and makes a full rotation in one hour. During this time, you can watch the panoramic view of the city while sitting and popijeć drinks or something to eat. It's just a theory! All the spots with cards "Reserved", after a long period of standing by the window zdjełyśmy card and usiadłyśmy with purchased drinks at the bar, we wanted something to order, but the waitress skirted us a wide arc. Another place in Vilnius where ostentatiously shows reluctance to Poles.

  • This is the historic traces of the struggle of Soviet citizens want independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, stood up and left. Again and again to fight blood flowing through Vilnius streets clean by now, to attract people who are not felt history followed think over everything now and take a look at this country, as well as a beautiful city and the landscape of now wears the weight. Now is too revolving restaurant on the top floor! (Very fast rotation...)

  • This place is really amazing to view the entire city view. Restaurant in the top of the tower is pretty good nice to have food or drinks.

  • Definitelly worth visiting! A great restaurant up there. I recommend especially if you choose to walk there instead travelling by a car or taxi. If so, you will have to pass a quite part of the surrounding forrest with extra attractions like climbing the cliffs, but it will be unforgettable experience :)
  • The view is stunning! Its really worth the money goin up there. Have a drink and watch the city spinning slowly. I love this place!
  • Absolutely superb! Fantastic views across the city and the food in the restaurant is excellent. This was the highlight of my week long trip. I will go back and take friends and family. ***Please note the TV tower opens at 11am but the restaurant opens at 1pm. *** Lastly, I have noted a few instances in Vilnius where venues have not been signposted very well. The TV tower was one of those instances. Currently (June 2016) you must go past the old overland entrance, down some stairs, turn right, through the glass doors and through a tunnel to get to the ticket office. VILNIUS, SIGNPOST YOUR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS PROPERLY!
  • Great view, good service, good food, moderate prices, relax sit back and enjoy
  • On the day we visited, there were loads of kids running around and screaming as if their life was in danger. Needless to say, it spoiled our experience.
