Vilnius Town Hall is a historical town hall in the square of the same name in the Old Town of Vilnius, Lithuania.PalaceThe town hall in Vilnius was mentioned for the first time in 1432. Initially it was a Gothic style building, and has since been reconstructed many times. The current Vilnius Town Hall was rebuilt in neoclassical style according to the design by Laurynas Gucevičius in 1799. It has remained unchanged since then. Its Gothic cellars have been preserved and may be visited.Nowadays it is used for representational purposes as well as during the visits of foreign state officials and rulers, including George Walker Bush and Queen Elizabeth II.

  • The building is white and large, thanks to the pillars gives it a pretty impressive impression. Square in front is ok and you can sit there and eat at restaurants. From the outside, there is not much to see, the inside was unfortunately not available for os.

  • I went because it was away from the hotel. Interested in architecture can be enjoyed only in appearance, but the walk from the gate of dawn immediately from I and may well take a look at 10 minutes.

  • We visited the Tourist centre early in the morning, staff was busy with their work and did not really attend to us, the building is impressive.
  • Another lovely site in Vilnius, a nice looking white building with a lot of history, get in inside and enjoy it :)
  • Nice place to hang out. Large empty space to walk around.
  • Normaliai normaliai
  • The plaza outside the town hall always looks lovely, the town hall itself is nice but nothing too exciting. Definitely worth a visit for various public events that occur there though.
  • Nice
