  • Small market but very cute. Located next to the train station here you can buy everything you need, from fresh fish to meat, eggs, vegetables, dry fruits, nuts... There are also few restaurants inside. Some of them offer also Lithuanian food. The prices are good. Worth a visit 😉
  • It's place for everybody. At day it's market for your casually groceries from farmers. Also have few good places for good brunch or fresh sea food. And at night then farmers markets closes - pubs opens. You can find small club for dancing and cocktails. And hole market become like big chill place with bar for casual beer and small chats. It's perfect place for chefs to find groceries, for food critics to taste high quality oysters and for hipsters to party in different environment.
  • A very cool, chic market next to the old town. I'd recommend coming earlier as there are more stalls opened during that time. The folks here are friendly and it's fun to see where the locals do some of their daily shopping.
  • Great variety of options in produce, meats, breads, and prepared goods. I bought the best pickles and prepared chili sauce, also Lithuanian black bread, crullers and pastry from the old babushkas there. Highly worth a visit!!
  • Great variety of fresh products from Lithuania, Caucasus and Central Asia: from vegetables to meat, dairy, bread, sold by the locals at their stalls. Interesting range of gourmet stores offering Lithuanian delicacies and "ethnic" kiosks and diners. Overall, a market that is becoming more tourist-oriented (but also tourist-friendly!) without losing authenticity and competitive prices!!
