  • Vilnius Turgus Hales is very conveniently located in the historic beautiful building, which for more than 100 years. On the market you can not only buy, but also plenty of dairy and meat, decent Lithuanian products "from the farmers." Sellers are pleased to you. Recommend definitely buy or at least try cheeses, Tilžės Rokiskio, Svalia, hard cheese "DŽIUGAS, skilandis, kazjukas," krovjanku ", kibinaj, vedaraj, pig ears, etc. But, unfortunately, this gastronomic paradise being replaced by pavilions with harmful Chinese consumer goods and other food items not located right in the heart of historic building market. Is puzzling neighborhood sausages and cheeses with smelly jeans and tops.

  • Hales Turgus was well worth a visit in order to visit a local market. There is an enormous amount of lovely sausages which by the way are really tasty. Likewise is it with the smoked bacon and the dri...  more »
  • The market in General is almost correct. But there are nuances. Firstly, in my opinion, junk, in the sense of clothes and hotchpotch here to anything. Need Lithuanian local products and specialties. In this and must tweak such markets. And here is more complicated. Honestly-historic. No diversity, special, little farm on the present, many simply sausages and meat products from the store. I found eventually and bought a couple of types of real bacon, homemade sausage and meat products. But, for example, with neighbours, in Minsk, just 100 km incomparably richer!

  • Traditional market, although very old, but beautifully restored. Worth a visit for meats, vegetables and what not.
  • The fruit, the cheese, the flowers, the baked goods - lovely. It would certainly help to speak Lithuanian, but all there was helpful and did their best to help me muddle through. The clothing was of a low quality, but the food items were fresh, delicious and well priced.
  • Great place to go for cheap shoes, clothes and food. I didn't like the meaty smell in part of the area. People speak English poorly here but it doesn't matter as you can point and they show the prices on calculators or it is marked on items.
  • This place is a must go im tbe city. Is really nice, people are kind there. Fruits are pretty, haven't eaten them. Meat looks fresh. :)
  • #2 Tourist attraction in Vilnius. MUST VISIT. Contains my fav shop - ROOTS with locally made cheeses. Buy local produce - yoghurt, cheese, ham/sausages, visit bakery, taste the pickles!
