  • Catholic Church of St. Caterina already its complex form suggests that built his long and different architects. Originally a stone church built in 1650. Only five years have passed and the Church was partly destroyed by Russian troops and Ukrainian Cossacks. Restored half century. To the eastern side built a presbitarij (where the altar is) with an apse. Then the fire of the year 1737. Restored Johann Glaubitz. Is he nadstroil two more towers. This is how we see it now. Then the French invasion in 1812-m. plundered. The first world has survived, but in II-nd Vilnius was taken by storm and the Cathedral was damaged. Now the Cathedral is used for cultural activities, exhibitions, concerts. But it's got to catch.

  • This is a lovely and peaceful church. All the churches in town are stunning, and yet they are all unique, including this one. I recommend a visit!
