Palanga Beach, Palanga

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Stretching alongside the Baltic Sea, Palanga Beach boasts soft white sand and impressive dunes. Locals, Lithuanian vacationers, and international tourists flock here to sunbathe and splash in the chilly water. Though cold, the sea is remarkably clean and clear. A long pier juts into the ocean, and the beach gets most crowded around this area. Those who prefer a more tranquil sunbathing session should stake out a spot a good distance from the pier. You can buy chebureki (a popular pastry in much of Eastern Europe and Central Asia) and drinks from one of the vendors up and down the sandy stretch. • Maybe summer would be better)! Were in October. Cold. People do not have. Everything is closed. Hotels are empty. It is not upset. Sea air and walk in the Park and waterfront have done their job. The mood is great!

  • Palanga beaches stretch along the coastline for many kilometres and practically along the whole of the city. Pure fine white sand, gentle and soft, air saturated with the aroma of pine trees and the sea. Romantic walks, Pier stretching into the sea surface. The beach has the blue flag and a well-developed infrastructure.
