  • Away from the bustle of the beach, a Museum in a huge well-kept Park. Entirely refurbished, gives an overview of life which prevailed in this residence and especially presents a very interesting exhibition on amber. Passage in Palanga, instructive to visit.

  • We visited the beautiful park with the fact this museum today. First of all, the great large, well-maintained park was a first highlight for us. Then the great castle with manicured gardens, flower beds and watering holes. Simply beautiful. The Museum is nicely made, but not really a must for visiting. The adjacent shop is unfortunately very high, what about the prices.

  • Great place to see amber jewelry. Located in wonderful pictorial pine park. Good place to walk and relax.
  • I'm not big museum person but the amber museum was still interesting. At the first floor there was mainly old furniture, paintings etc, so nothing really for me. But the second floor gave a good overview about amber. Best part were the little critters who had got stuck in the amber. You could look those amber pieces with magnifying glass and see all the details. Museum isn't very big but considering the low price of the ticket, i would recommend to have a look!
  • Very interesting and beautiful place. Museum is located in the middle of the large park in a mansion or even palace like building. Exposition is very large and interesting. And in the end there is a little ship within crafts of real Amber.
  • A wonderful historical palace of a noble Tiškevičius family. On the first floor you will find a display of the once contemporary furniture, paintings and tapestries, while on the second floor you will discover displays of the varieties of amber, it's genesis, use, and beautiful creations of well known Lithuanian jewelers. Well worth visiting.
  • Visited this summer biking Baltics. Definitely worth a visit. Lovely park and interesting museum
