  • Alley partially repaired in days of our arrival, as well as in Moscow, there were laying tiles ... But we are fortunate that these days on all its 1.5 km unfolded fair! What there was not only: and honey, and cheeses, and linen designer dresses, and lots and lots of souvenirs. Really liked the live music and choir. We do not know the Lithuanian language, but tried to sing along! On both sides of the alley-shops and restaurants. Many shops and places to relax, including a fountain. Perhaps this is the main tourist artery of the city.

  • Reminds me a little of the Ramblas but quieter without street performers or muggings. Bustling at all hours and is full of shops, hotels and cafes where you can have something. Follow it all in half an hour and it's almost all pedestrian, represents the central part of the city that comes to the Town Hall and the Castle.

  • Quick trip to Kaunas. Staying in the City Center we couldn't miss a nice, refreshing and invigorating walk along this pedestrian street, alberatio that reaches the town. Very pleasant, spacious with some Garden here and there. Full of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops ... no big deal, mind you ... because you see a certain distance from the Western world. What to do if in Kaunas
