Cathedral of St. Florin, Vaduz

(2.5/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Visit the burial site of the Liechtenstein Princely family at Cathedral of St. Florin. Friedrich von Schmidt built this parish church in 1874 on the site of earlier medieval foundations, and it features colorful stained-glass windows over the altar. Look for the graves of Prince Franz Joseph II--the father of present ruling Prince--and his wife, Countess Georgina von Wilczek. The Neo-Gothic church is the center of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz and has held the status of cathedral since 1997. • The Cathedral is located within a few minutes of the city square and it really is a quaint old place from the inside too, try attending a mass session if your visit permits. It makes a pretty picture,...  more »
  • Is most prominent in the center of Vaduz. The picture looked like multiethnic altar and stained-glass Windows and the organ inside the Church of the ordinary was the altarpiece back centered on Christ Mandalas that seen anywhere else, is interesting. Are lit up at night.
