Categories: Churches, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.4/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web
Visit the burial site of the Liechtenstein Princely family at Cathedral of St. Florin. Friedrich von Schmidt built this parish church in 1874 on the site of earlier medieval foundations, and it features colorful stained-glass windows over the altar. Look for the graves of Prince Franz Joseph II--the father of present ruling Prince--and his wife, Countess Georgina von Wilczek. The Neo-Gothic church is the center of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz and has held the status of cathedral since 1997. • You walk around in Leichtenstein and then you come quickly to this church. EFFE inward, see that there is little to see falls and back out so.

  • Vaduz Cathedral is located in the city centre, a short walk from the Government Palace. Looks like an imposing building, pity it was under renovation, the Interior is quite simple, nothing fancy.
