  • I repeat, but stopping in Vaduz is just wasted time, there is no historic center indeed denatured by a multiplicity of ultra modern buildings ugly, the castle is not open to the public, the Cathedral of St. Florin is remarkable, the low relief, even this couldn't be better, adds nothing to nothing.

  • Relief is on the way from administrative buildings on the main square of the country to the temple. It is worth to ask the composer's musical heritage. In Liechtenstein there are not so many monuments! We did it back home. Particularly good Evensong and organ works: first concert and 6 pieces for cello and organ. Just open!

  • Josef Gabriel Rheinberger was born in Vaduz in 1839 and from small stood out for his musical talent. At the age of seven, he was already serving as organist of the parish church, and his first composition was performed the following year. He spent most of his life in Germany, died in Munich in 1901. As a tribute, between the Cathedral and the main square, there is a bust of the musician (who can even go unnoticed by tourists).
