  • Castle began to be built in 1788 took 22 years p complete! Residence of the Emir of the season it was a responsible for the Ottoman Government to care donates interests in the region. Well maintained site, historically very Rico, after the departure of the emir who kept 52 years in power the Ottomans took over with the fall of the Ottoman Empire the Castle turned into bureaucratic operations center. Well maintained, has some Roman mosaics riquissimos, Turkish baths, rooms, meeting rooms, intact! Nowadays serves as the seat of Government in some occasions and summer residence of the President of the Republic, has the first lady's Chambers and the emir's room intact that serves as the press room! 3.5 input dollars. Worth the visit

  • In the heart of Drusus, the Beiteddine Palace is a magnificent Palace full of beautiful panoramas and little tidbits, with a very special story. If you are in Beirut, deserves half day tour. Beautiful views of the surroundings: mountains of Shouf region with their citrons.

  • Summer residence of the Lebanese president, historical, worth a visit. Come early in order to see it calmly and prevent the closing hour rush. Nice gardens Good old architecture.

  • A must ! This is the place to visit to discover the glamorous princes time of Lebanon during Ottomans governing. The oriental classy shapes, the huge halls, the paintings, the mosaics etc. the nature there is also amazing. The Chouf region is just perfect

  • The President's summer home. this palace is also a museum for curios tourists. Every summer they have a huge festival where popular musicians from America and around the world perform
