4.7/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
At Saint Charbel Tomb, see where the sainted monk--whose mortal remains emanated white light--spent the last 23 years of his life. According to many witnesses, the monk's body was found intact four months after his burial without a coffin in muddy grounds. Walk the short wooded path from the temple to the tomb, which today holds only bones of peculiar reddish color. See where the monk spent most of his time: from the doorway of his modest cell, look at the bare floors and walls, and the log he used as a pillow. The area around the temple provides scenic views of the mountains and the sea.
