  • Mohammad Al Amin Mosque is a very glorious and majestic place to visit. Beautiful Amazing piece of art  more »
  • At the heart of the city, in the District of downtown, the mosque comes from the streets and imposes itself in the urban view. The sand and the Blue Dome make it beautiful from outside, while maintaining a simple and humble. The Interior is characterized by equal simplicity, which goes to disperse once you raise your eyes: the ceilings have a show ever seen, colors and geometric designs, embellished by chandeliers. I would highly recommend the visit, even to those who are atheist (there's a peace within it, than many of our churches). I think Sir, because such beauty should be admired several times. Women must cover their heads, as expected, custom with a veil. At the entrance there are black tunics who, alas, has no pants (no miniskirt and no shorts). Personally I brought from home a scarf that I used as a veil. The shoes you put in display cases inside, and there is no danger of being stolen (I say this for the more wary)

  • It is a great colour just as the sun is lowering, we also loved the contrast with the Christian Church along side of it, what a treat!  more »

  • Lebanon's famous blue mosque, a landmark of downtown Beirut and a show of architectural design.
  • Al-Hamdullillah everyday for being a Muslim. Thank Allah (SWT) for blessing mankind with their kindness and great ideas to build such a beautiful and wonderful Mosque. Habibi Ya Allah (SWT) everyday for your blessings. Al-Hamdullillah.
  • Oct 2014 - A visit to Beirut will not be completed if I didn't visit this mosque. Very serene, quiet, and peaceful.
  • Great masjid. Subhan Allah
