  • On the way from Sigulda according to Turaida, leads past the sandstone caves and can insert here confidently a rest, to decipher the many inscriptions in the sandstone here. Not spectacular but you can wonder how come the inscriptions in the inaccessible places

  • The suburb of Sigulda is a very popular place for family vacation. And some of the hits here are dated before last century. The cave is the concept here is very conditional. Not those. The weather was wonderful and appropriate.

  • Absolutely beautiful walk to get there, but not a lot to see at the cave. A giant staircase leads from here to a scenic walk high above the river

  • Very tiny cave, where you won't spend more than 5 minutes. It's ok, as a starting point to Turaida Castle. Around you can find WC, and a small market to buy souvenirs.
  • Who would have guessed that 16th century could be so interesting?
  • This "cave" is a joke really, just look at the photos. Totally unspectacular. Don't worth changing your route for it.
  • You can drink the water from here as it is a rainwater filtered by meters and meters of "sand-rock". Looks more impressive at night if you use flashlight
  • Nice "cave " biggest around , worth to see , 1,5€ for parking
