Sun Museum, Riga

(3.6/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
See 400 artistic representations of Earth's closest star from numerous countries at Sun Museum. What started out as a private collection of sun-shaped objects obtained during travels became the world's only museum dedicated solely to the sun. View figurines of different shapes, styles, and colors, and find out what artists from different cultures imagine the sun to be. Read about Galileo and his ideas and discover how the heliocentric system changed humanity. The museum offers guided tours and workshops, depending on staff availability. • Amazing Museum. Wonderful master class interesting, both children and adults. Everybody comes out of this museum with its Sun. "Burn always, burning everywhere, before the days of the past, the Donets. Burn and no nails, that's my motto and the Sun ". (V. Mayakovsky) thanks to the creators and the sozdatel'nicam Museum.
