  • Worth popping in to see the Gothic ceiling. Also, a pianist may be playing, as what happened when I was there, adding to the atmosphere. Not too many tourists.
  • Protestant Church. John (Sveta Jana baznica) looks familiar as it through the Gothic façade resembles the pretty riverside walk into St. John the Baptist in Warsaw. Although the history of this temple dates back to the 13th century (originally as a wooden Chapel)-Riga the Church its present appearance owes the reconstruction after World War II. Inside is lots of works of Latvian art and most notable are the Gothic organ

  • I had to overlook the Guidebook says "wall at the top" and says the location of the face of the monks ' building to protect from evil was pounded into painted on the wall, but well beyond expectations this high position is dangerous. Was a position of stature who had received alms from the people passing, but it is unknown whether or not there is the place was crowded to really paint so I can imagine. This is the legend, not the true story, so open your mouth and also wear a poker face while watching little intimidated.

  • A church with an open door, lovely inside and outside.
  • This is my favourite church in Riga. Interesting to go up to the top of the church and see the marvelous view over the City of Riga.
  • Very beautiful!
