Don't miss seeing the tallest structure in the European Union, Riga Radio and TV Tower, and view the city from its 97 m (318 ft) high observation platform. Completed in 1989, the building rises 368 m (1,207 ft) tall, and its three supporting legs take up the space of four ice-hockey rinks. The imposing red-and-yellow structure stands out from its surroundings; take advantage of your visit by taking part in a brief lecture about its features at the observation deck. You'll be able to see the Gulf of Riga on clear days. Add Riga Radio and TV Tower and other attractions to your Riga trip itinerary using our Riga vacation route planner.
