  • A wide variety of vehicles in a modern museum. A fairly large selection of vehicles from the Soviet Union. Visited it one Sunday in December with bad weather, seemed like it was a popular place for local families as well.

  • That in Riga there are avtomuzej I found out quite by accident before the trip, reading on the Internet about the local attractions. I myself am not entirely otmorozhennym fan car, don't buy magazines about cars, not spending time on the sites of auto magazines, but calm, healthy male interest-machines, am:) So I decided that for a week stay in Riga certainly find time to visit this museum. In Riga I and his family settled in the old town, the Museum of the same, judging from the map, was on the outskirts of town in an area close to the famous Riga film-Sergei Eisenstein's. The route to the Museum I paved on Google map using public transport-bus stop no. 21, which stops near the freedom monument. Travel time amounted to 25-30 minutes, most of which the bus is traveling on a straight-Brivibas Street. Then another 500 meters walk to the Museum. Adult ticket worth 10 euro. Things and coats can be left in the cell, closing with the help of odnoevrovoj coins, which can be picked up after use. 3 the Museum floor. On the 1 floor-reception with the cashier, gift shop, cafe. There's also the beginning of the exposition, cells, toilets, a children's corner. At the beginning of the exposition, a brief history of wheeled transport, which effectively represented through a combination of LED screens and projectors. Also on the 1 floor of automobiles in the early to mid 20th century. Externally, the cars look great-gleaming wooden details in the oldtajmerah rubbed, glass is transparent, a speck of dust anywhere! Amusingly presented prestige car writer Maxim Gorky: beside him a screen with information about the writer, vospevavshem Soviet values, that several kontrastirue ...

  • A great interactive museum, although it is on the outskirts of the city, but worthy of what it had been included in the list of must-see places in Riga. Floors of exciting exhibits, and it is not only cars, but also everything that we believe your story-phones, flaxseed, petrol stations, car, etc. If you intend to visit this wonderful Museum, plan to hold it at least 2.5 hours)) a little advice on transport: to the door of the Museum bus No. 50, but it is scarce (we have "face" has left the bus on a scheduled basis through 40 minutes), use trolleybuses No. 14 or 19, that go from the Center and walk to the Museum along the circuit.

  • I really enjoyed the museum. It has recently been renovated and now it has become a modern interactive museum with a good сollection of vintage cars and motorcycles. The museum itself is small (a two-hour visit is enough) and the entrance ticket is quite expensive. But I still recommend it. I would visit again.
  • A great collection of historic vehicles with an emphasis on Soviet car industry and latvian motor sports. The museum is well organized and includes interactive exhibits that attract children.
  • Terrific museum with interesting history, and an incredible number of well-preserved vintage cars, to be experienced 😀👍
  • Nice museum. But ticket price becomes quite high after the museum reconstruction
  • Very exciting!!!! Renault and fiat are the best! But too hoooot and not enough fresh air:(
